Probely’s Web App and API Scanning Introduces Flexible Pricing

Posted on April 10, 2023

Probely, a cloud-based dynamic application security testing solution provider, has recently made a major product update that aims to further align their offerings with their core mission of providing the best security testing platform for organizations of all sizes. This move follows the growth from their 7.7 million euros Series A investment round.

One of the most notable changes in this update is that users can now enjoy full Web Application & API scanning for free, with no hidden fees or expiration dates. This is a significant development, as security testing has become a crucial aspect of software development and deployment. By providing this essential feature for free, Probely aims to make security testing more accessible to everyone, regardless of their size or budget.

Furthermore, Probely has also introduced a usage-based pricing model that allows users to pay only for the scanning hours they use. Users can customize their plans to fit their individual needs, making it a more cost-effective and flexible solution compared to traditional pricing models. The free version comes with 5 credits, with 1 scanning hour costing 1 credit. This usage-based model complements the existing pay-per-target model, which includes unlimited scans.

According to Nuno Loureiro, CEO and Co-founder of Probely, the combination of these two pricing models makes Probely’s pricing model the most flexible in the market. With this update, Probely aims to empower more organizations to take a proactive approach to security testing, and ultimately improve their overall security posture.

In addition, Probely is introducing many new features that will benefit their users, including but not limited to partial and incremental scans, teams to organize your users and apps, blackout periods for scanning, newly refreshed user interface, and many other features. Now, any freeuser can run a full web application and or API scans using Probely. These new features will help users to quickly identify and address any potential security risks, ensuring their applications are always secure.
